The Mobile Map Browser is the central working screen in CrewVision. It loads automatically after login and provides a real-time, interactive view of your company’s properties and service areas.
How to access the Mobile Map Browser After logging in, the app loads directly into the Mobile Map Browser. You can return to it at any time by tapping the Browser tab in the bottom navigation bar.
Main elements and how they work
Search Bar Located at the top of the screen. It normally displays a status message such as “Searching 582 Properties” (reflecting the total number of properties currently loaded or matching any active filters).
Tap the search bar to open the full search interface.
In search mode you will see:
Back arrow (←) in the top-left corner to return to the map
The active search input field
Filter icon (funnel) on the right
Recent Searches section Displays previously performed searches (shows “No recent searches” when empty)
Recently Viewed Properties section A scrollable list of properties you have recently opened Each item includes:
Thumbnail image (when available)
Green “ACTIVE ACCOUNT” indicator
Approximate distance from your current location
Property name or label
Full address
Time since last viewed (e.g. “Last viewed: 6 days ago”)
As you type
The app performs a fuzzy search (matches partial words, close spellings, etc.)
Matching properties appear in real time as results below the recent / recently viewed sections
Tapping any search result:
Returns you to the Mobile Map Browser
Centers and zooms the map on the selected property
Automatically opens the Property Overview Modal for that property
Property Pins Individual properties appear as pins on the map.
Pins use different icons depending on property type (house 🏠, capitol/building 🏛, etc.)
When many properties are close together (especially when zoomed out), they group into clusters — numbered circles showing the count of properties in that area.
Zoom in (pinch gesture) to automatically expand clusters into individual pins.
Tap a pin to open the Property Overview Modal.
Locate Me / Follow Me Button Circular button in the bottom-right corner showing a target / arrow icon.
Tap once to center the map on your current location.
Tap again to activate Follow Me Mode — the map follows your position and rotates to match the direction you are facing.
Tap again to exit Follow Me Mode.
Filter Button Circular button showing a funnel icon (🪝) near the top-right of the map. Tap to open the Filters Modal and narrow down which properties are displayed.
List View Button Circular button showing three horizontal lines (☰) near the top-right area. Tap to switch to List View — a scrollable list of properties instead of the map.
Layers Modal Opened by tapping the stacked diamond icon button at the bottom of the map display area.
Map Type Choose the base map style. Options (displayed as preview thumbnails):
Satellite
Default
Traffic
The currently selected map type is highlighted in green.
Map Details Toggle which CrewVision data layers appear overlaid on the base map (highlighted in green when turned on):
Service Areas

Property Pins
Key behaviors
Changes apply in real time — the map updates immediately when toggling layers.
Multiple layers can be active at the same time.
All layer selections and filter settings are automatically remembered by the application — even between login sessions and app restarts.
The active map type is highlighted in green.
Filters Modal Opened by tapping the funnel icon (🪝) in the top-right corner of the Mobile Map Browser. Filters let you narrow down the properties shown on the map so you only see what’s relevant for the current task.
How filters work
Filters from different categories are combined with AND logic — only properties matching all selected conditions are displayed.
Each chip acts as a toggle — tap to turn on or off (selected chips appear highlighted in green).
The map updates in real time as you toggle filters.
The purple button at the bottom (“Show XXX Properties”) shows the current real-time count of matching properties and closes the modal when tapped.
Available filter categories
Service Map Select which service map layer to display (e.g. “Winter Inventory Map” with ❄️ icon). Controls whether only properties that have this specific map type are shown.
Customer Search field to find properties by customer name or keyword.
Account Status Toggle options:
Active Account
Inactive Account
Active Lease
Property Type Toggle options:
Residential home (🏠)
Government (🏛)
(other types configured by your company)
Resetting filters
Tap Clear all to remove every active filter.
Tap Reset to revert to default settings.
Tap Show XXX Properties to confirm and close.
Property Overview Modal The Property Overview Modal gives crew members a quick, focused view of a specific property. It opens as a scrollable bottom sheet when you tap a property pin, select a property from search results, or choose one in List View.
Collapsed view (initial state)
Header with property name/label + close button (×)
Full address
Green status badge (e.g. 🏛 Active Account)
Property type (e.g. Government with capitol icon)
Summary row: Government | 4.1414 acres | Services (❄️)
Open Property floating button (centered over the property on the map) — tap to open the full Property Viewer screen
Expanded view (after swiping up)
Tab bar appears with four tabs (Info is the default):
Info — core property details, account information, notes, basic metadata
Pins — individual service points, assets, and marked objects (trees, irrigation heads, beds, lights, etc.)
Service Areas — colored zones and service regions defined for this property
Media — photos and videos already uploaded for this property, including Recently Uploaded section with count and thumbnails
Behavior notes
The modal is scrollable in both states.
Tabs are always visible once expanded.
Map behind the modal stays centered and zoomed on the property with boundary highlighted.
This modal is an overview only — detailed viewing, media upload, editing, and full service maps happen in the Property Viewer screen.
Real-time updates Whenever the device has an internet connection, the Mobile Map Browser reflects the latest information from the company account. Changes made by office staff or other crew members (new properties, updated service areas, task assignments, media uploads) appear on the map within seconds.
