The Property Viewer is the full-screen detailed view of a single property. It opens when you tap the Open Property button from the Property Overview Modal in the Mobile Map Browser.
How to open the Property Viewer
- From the Mobile Map Browser, tap a property pin, search result, or list item to open the Property Overview Modal.
- Swipe up on the modal (or tap directly if already expanded).
- Tap the Open Property button (floating over the center of the property boundary on the map).
The screen switches to the full Property Viewer with the Info tab selected by default.
General layout
- Back arrow (←) in the top-left corner to return to the Mobile Map Browser
- Property address shown at the top (e.g. 60 Queen St W)
- Interactive map view in the upper portion, with the property boundary highlighted (yellow outline with pink edge)
- Tab bar at the bottom of the map area (horizontal, scrollable if needed)
- Content area below the tabs changes depending on the selected tab
- Floating action buttons at the bottom of the map:
- Blue + button (primary action – see below)
- Camera icon (quick shortcut to take photo/video)
- Locate / Follow Me button (center map on current location)
Blue + button Tapping the blue + button opens a choice between two main actions:
- Upload media Opens the camera or photo library to take a new photo/video or select an existing one. The media is automatically:
- GPS-tagged to this property
- Added to the Media tab in this property’s gallery
- Placed in the Recently Uploaded section
- Create a Pin Lets you place a new marker (pin) directly on the property map. After placing the pin, you can add:
- Text (instructions, notes, descriptions, comments)
- Images (photo attached to the pin)
- Video (short clip attached to the pin) Pins appear in the Pins tab and on the map overlay (typically as yellow pins, with optional warning icon ⚠️).
Camera icon Quick shortcut that opens the camera directly. Any photo or video taken here is automatically uploaded to this property’s Media tab (same behaviour as choosing Upload Media from the + button).
Tabs
Info (default tab) Shows general property information, account status, size, and high-level notes or metadata. Common elements include:
- Property status (e.g. Active Account with icon)
- Property type (e.g. Government)
- Area / size (e.g. acres or square footage)
- Services indicator (e.g. snowflake ❄️ when winter services are present)
- Any additional company-defined fields or notes
Pins Displays individual service points, objects, and marked assets placed on this property. Typical content:
- Map overlay showing pin locations
- List of pins below the map (e.g. “Yellow Pin” with attached instruction text)
- Pencil icon (✏️) next to each pin to edit or view details
- Text instructions, attached images, or attached videos per pin
Service Areas Shows the colored service zones and regions defined for this property. Typical content:
- Map overlay with highlighted/colored polygons for each area
- List of service areas below the map, including:
- Name (e.g. City Sidewalk, Front Walkways, Centre Parking, Front Stairs)
- Area measurement (e.g. 19,593 ft²)
- Grouped area count and total (e.g. 3 areas – 40,336 ft²)
- Pencil icon (✏️) to edit or view details for each area
- Special categories such as “Do not service area” or “Non inventoryable area”
Media Displays all photos and videos associated with this property. Typical content:
- Recently Uploaded section with count (e.g. 8)
- Horizontal scrollable strip or grid of thumbnails
- Grouped by month/year (e.g. February 2026)
Interacting with media
- Tap a thumbnail → opens the full image / video view
- Full-screen display of the selected item
- Metadata overlay:
- Uploaded by (name and timestamp)
- Property address
- GPS coordinates
- Top-right icons: share/upload (↑) and overflow menu (…) for additional actions
- Swipe or tap gallery indicators → enters gallery view
- Full-screen carousel of all media items for this property
- Swipe left/right to browse
- Zoom in on photos with pinch gesture
- Back arrow returns to the Media tab grid/list
Key behaviors
- The map remains interactive — zoom, pan, and switch layers/types while inside the Property Viewer.
- All media and pins added from this screen are automatically linked to this property.
- Changes (new pins, media, edits) update the map overlay and tabs in real time.
- Back arrow returns to the Mobile Map Browser (property remains selected).
Key notes The Property Viewer is the main workspace for in-depth property review and documentation:
- Checking service areas and measurements
- Reviewing or adding detailed pins with text/images/video
- Viewing and uploading media for proof of work or issues
- Quick on-site actions via the blue + and camera buttons
