The Property Editor is CrewVision’s powerful vector-based drawing tool. It allows users to create detailed, interactive service maps for properties that serve as the foundation for dispatch, job costing, and client communication.
Built for field service operations (snow & ice, landscaping, pavement, and more), the Property Editor turns every property into a living digital blueprint. Once a customer approves the proposed services, these maps become the operational backbone of the CrewVision platform.
Core Capabilities
External Boundary
It defines the overall geofenced area of the property (shown as a pink outline). This boundary is critical because it segregates all data including Service Areas, Objects, Pins, media, and dispatched jobs on a per-property basis.
Service Areas
Define and manage color-coded zones on the property map. Service Areas are used for job assignment, square footage calculations, and dispatch routing. Users can apply custom textures, create cutouts, and duplicate areas quickly.
Objects
Add smaller, detailed elements (such as equipment, obstacles, or special features) to the map using a library of icons. Objects support rotation, scaling, tagging, and can be linked to jobs or media.
Pins
Place instructional pins on the map to communicate important details to crews. Pins support text, images, video, and can be filtered by service map or season.
Hi-Resolution Print Out
Generate professional, high-resolution PDF exports of any map view. Users can add legends, watermarks, and control cropping for client-ready deliverables. Currently supports Nearmap hi-res flyover imagery where available.
Map Store
Augment your maps with premium third-party imagery and data layers. The Map Store allows users to purchase and apply higher-resolution aerial imagery and other mapping assets directly within the editor.
Map Version History
Maintain a full version history of every edit made to a property map. Users can review changes over time and restore previous versions when needed.
Full Screen Mode & Advanced Tools
