Pins are a key feature in CrewVision that bring location-specific intelligence directly onto property maps. They function as smart markers placed at exact points on a map to communicate important information to crews and administrators.
Unlike Service Areas or Objects that define zones or features, Pins deliver contextual instructions, warnings, notes, images, or videos tied to a precise geographic location. This makes Pins invaluable for highlighting safety concerns, special instructions, access details, or any other critical information that needs to be visible at a glance.
Pins are fully integrated across the CrewVision platform. They can be created by administrators in the Property Editor or added in the field by crews using the mobile app. Once placed, Pins appear in the Map Browser, dispatched jobs, high-resolution print outs, and reports — ensuring consistent communication across the entire team.
Adding Pins
Pins can be added in two main ways:
From the Property Editor (Admin Portal)
In the right sidebar, click the Pins button.
Click the + button in the Pins list.
Select a Pin from the Pins Libraries.
Drag the Pin to the precise location on the map.
Fill in the Pin details (text, images, video, etc.) and save.
From the Field (Mobile App) Crews can add Pins directly while on site using the Property Viewer in the CrewVision mobile app.
