The Map History feature provides a complete version history of every edit made to a property map in the Property Editor.
This tool allows users to review past versions, track changes over time, and restore previous states when needed.
Accessing Map History
Click the History button in the right sidebar of the Property Editor. A vertical timeline panel opens on the left side of the screen, showing all recorded edits for the current property.
Timeline Overview
The timeline is organized chronologically by month and year. Each entry includes:
Date and time of the edit
User who made the change
Number of edits made in that session
Summary of changes (e.g., “Pathways by Statue – Assignment Updated”)
Similar edits are automatically grouped together for easier viewing.
Restoring a Previous Version
Selecting any entry in the timeline loads that exact version of the map. From there, users can:
Review the map state at that point in time
Re-initiate (restore) that version as the current active map
This gives full control over map evolution and protects against accidental changes.
Map History ensures transparency, accountability, and the ability to recover from unintended modifications across all properties.
