Employee Roles Permissions

The Update Role page provides a simple, user-friendly way to manage highly detailed role permissions for your operations — all from one screen. This gives you precise control over what each team member can access and do across CrewVision.

Access this screen from the Roles list by clicking the edit (pencil) icon next to a role. The page is divided into three tabs: General, Mapping, and Dispatch.

General Tab

This tab manages broad system permissions including:

  • Roles (add, edit, delete, view, edit defaults, duplicate)

  • Employees (add, edit, delete, view, import, export)

  • Customers (add, edit, delete, view, import, export)

  • Contacts (view, add, edit, delete, import, export)

  • Property Status (edit, view, add, delete)

  • Invoices (view, add, edit, delete, export)

  • Payments (view, add, edit, export)

  • Accounts Receivable (view, export)

  • Credits (view, add, edit, export)

  • Subscription Billing and Subscription

  • Action Logs, Product, Time Sheets, Payroll, Billing, and more.

Mapping Tab

This tab controls permissions related to maps, properties, and media:

  • Map Browser (view, change filters)

  • Properties (add, edit, delete, view, import, export)

  • Map Categories, Services, Mobile Access (Map Browser, Dispatch, Edit Property Service Area, etc.)

  • Property Editor (add/edit service areas, boundaries, instructions, objects)

  • Instruction Pins, Company Pins, Textures, Tags, Tag Categories

  • Media Gallery (archive, delete, share links, tags)

  • Media Share Links

Dispatch Tab

This tab manages dispatch and operations related permissions:

  • Vehicles (view, add, edit, delete, import, export)

  • Vehicle Types (view, add, edit, delete)

  • Crews (view, add, edit, delete, import, export)

  • Tasks (view, add, edit, delete)

  • Dispatch (view, add, edit)

  • Dispatch Job (add, edit)

  • Dispatch Schedule (view, add, edit, delete)

  • Job Manager (view, add, edit, export)

  • Accounting Category (view, add, edit, export)

Click Save & Sync at the bottom to apply permission changes. This updates access for all users assigned to the role, including their current sessions.

These role-based permissions give you precise control over what each team member can access while maintaining security and operational efficiency.
