The Service Areas library manages the different types of service areas you can draw and assign on properties in CrewVision. These are the foundational building blocks used in maps, inventory tracking, and job dispatch.
Access this library from the left navigation under Libraries > Property Management > Service Areas.
Overview
Each service area type defines how a specific portion of a property is serviced. You can assign colors, link them to seasons, and mark whether they appear as inventory items.
Table Columns
Title – The name of the service area (example: Plowing Area, Lawn Area, Hand Shoveling Area).
Color – The visual color used to represent this service area on maps.
Property Count – How many properties currently use this service area type.
Season – The season this service area belongs to (Winter or Summer).
Inventory Item – Whether this service area is tracked as part of inventory (Yes/No).
Date Added and Last Modified – Timestamps for tracking changes.
Action – Edit or delete the service area type.
Use the + Add New button to create additional service area types. You can also archive types you no longer need.
Service Areas are central to how CrewVision understands and visualizes your field operations. Changes made here immediately affect the Property Editor, Map Browser, and all related reports and dispatch tools.
