The Objects library manages all point-based elements that appear on maps in CrewVision. Unlike Service Areas, which represent spaces on a property, Objects are specific points or items that sit on top of those areas.
Access this library from the left navigation under Libraries > Property Management > Objects.
Overview
Objects allow you to place and manage discrete items on a map such as planters, doors, buildings, hazards, or equipment. Each object can store its own data, media, notes, and history just like a Service Area. You can also assign a Service Area Type to an Object so it can be included in dispatch jobs.
Objects are displayed using icons or top-view vector graphics. This gives you flexibility in how they appear on maps.
Table Columns
Title – The name of the object type. Click the Title to view and manage all individual objects of that type currently placed across properties.
Status – Whether the object type is Active or Archived.
Items – The number of individual objects of this type currently placed across all properties.
Last Modified – When the object type was last updated.
Action – Edit the object type.
Use the checkbox column to select multiple items for bulk actions. Objects give your team precise visibility and dispatch capabilities for specific assets and features on every property. Changes made here immediately affect the Property Editor and Map Browser.
